There is just something about Earl Grey tea that I can’t get enough of, it truly is just so yummy. With that being said I might have purchased more tea than I can drink, which just means I have to start baking with it. Thank goodness my family likes Earl Grey Tea, though not sure they have a choice. I decided to try some new recipes featuring my favorite tea flavor.

Here are some of my favorite earl grey recipes!

Earl Grey Scones

I used to think making scones was going to be difficult and required great skills. I am happy to report they are not only easy but fun to make. I love looking through Pinterest and finding easy no fail scone recipes.

I also love Tea lattes but not a fan of the cost when I can make them at home. I have found that making them at home are pretty easy you just need the right ingredients. We have a keurig with a frother attached but heated milk in a mason jar with a shake will also work. Unless you want a fancy milk frother but they can be a bit pricey though you can practice you art of pouring skills. For now will stick to my keurig frother and some strong tea and some vanilla powder from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. So yummy!

Earl Grey Shortbread Cookies

Shortbread cookies can be mixed in a food processor and rolled in a log. I would make them a bit thicker than what I did but these are so yummy and fast to make. I like the subtle flavor of earl grey in food just makes it a bit rounder in flavor.

Earl Grey, Lemon, and Blueberry Loaf

When it comes to baking I really try to use what I have. Blueberries and earl grey and lemons and orange, hey why not. It was nice to try something other than just blueberry bread and with all those flavors it really is a nice unexpected bread.

Early Grey Madelines

I have always wanted to make Madeline cookies so I purchased the special pan and went to making these light almost muffin like delicious cookies. I made the batter the night before and in the morning I baked them up, they are the best right out of the oven. I could eat these things forever they just hit the spot with the Earl grey flavor and again with a tea latte, breakfast of champions!

I have not stopped loving Earl Grey and this only makes me want to make more and add to the flavors. Maybe my next go at this will be ice cream and cinnamon rolls with earl grey, or even macarons. Excuse me while I go have a cup of afternoon tea.
